Isabel Bucknall

Programme Advisor

Isabel works as a Programme Advisor for aidinfo, and is part of the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) Secretariat of the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI). Her work focuses on NGO engagement with IATI and the transparency agenda, and has also been working with the programme to understand IATI’s potential impact in developing countries. She started working at Development Initiatives in September 2009, having spent two months as an intern on the Global Humanitarian Assistance programme, before working as a Programme and Research Assistant cross-programmes, and then a Programme Officer.

Isabel graduated from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge in July 2009 with first class honours, having studied Theology and Religious Studies, with a focus on Indian religions and Christianity in countries facing political and social conflict. Over the past six years, she has spent nine months in India, teaching English and researching for her academic work.
